Delete Your Account or Reset Your Data
Last updated: August 4, 2026
You're in control of your data. You can request deletion of your entire Spot & Score account, or just reset specific game data while keeping your account. This page explains both options, how to request them, and what (if anything) we retain afterward.
1. Choose What to Delete
You can choose between two options:
- Delete my entire account— permanently deletes your sign-in profile and all game data. You'd need to create a new account to play again.
- Delete only my game data (keep my account) — pick exactly which items to reset (saved progress, stars/scores, coins, and/or lives). Your account stays connected for future play.
2. How to Request It
- Pick one of the two options in the form below.
- If you chose to reset game data only, select which items you want wiped.
- Fill in the email address linked to your Spot & Score account (the one you used to sign in with Google or another sign-in provider).
- Submit the request.
- We verify the request and complete it — within 30 days for a full account deletion, or within a few business days for a game data reset.
Prefer email? You can also send a request directly to support.spotscore@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account — just tell us which option (and which items, if resetting data only) you'd like.

4. What Gets Deleted
If you delete your entire account, we permanently remove:
- Your sign-in profile (name, email, and profile photo from your OAuth provider), stored in Firebase Authentication.
- All game data tied to your account in our database (Firestore), including saved progress, scores, coins, lives, and chapters/levels unlocked.
Because your game data is stored as documents linked to your Firebase Authentication account, deleting the account removes the associated documents as well — there is no separate copy left behind in our systems.
If you reset your game data only, we wipe just the items you select:
- Saved progress and chapters/levels unlocked
- Stars and scores
- Coins
- Lives
Your sign-in profile and account stay intact, so you can keep playing — anything you didn't select to reset stays as-is.
5. What's Retained, and For How Long
If you've made an in-app purchase, Google Play (as the payment processor) retains transaction and purchase receipt records separately from our database, for as long as required by applicable law (for example, tax, accounting, and consumer protection obligations). We never see or store your payment details ourselves, and this retention is governed by Google's own policies, not ours.
Aside from that, we do not retain any other personal data once a request — full account deletion or a game data reset — has been completed.
6. Questions
If you have questions about this process or your data, reach out through our Contact page or email support.spotscore@gmail.com. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle data.
